Greenkeepers report

Work being done week commencing Monday 29th July

- Spray primo (growth regulator) around bunker edges
- Cut long rye grass on worst fairways
- Top up sand in low bunkers
- Trim bunkers on new 16th green
- Carry on fixing/replacing broken sprinklers
- Water new tress/shrubs/wild flowers/new gorse
- Cut hedges/strim entrance/carpark area on the driving range
- Cut low branches/trim sides of 18th path
- Tidy up tee mats (strim edges/paint wood around the mats/weed mats/brush
mats)
- Divot tees
- Repair/replace broken rails on paths
- GUR bare areas

Work done

- Greens spiked (8mm solid tines)
- Greens cut and groomed (helps thin the grass blades and reduce the poa
seeding)
- Greens top dressed (total 12 tonnes) 80 tonnes of dressing has been put on the greens so far this year
- Greens sprayed with fertiliser
- All bunkers have now had there edges trimmed and sand levels checked (sand levels are low on some bunkers, they will be topped up with new sand)
- Driving range was cut
- Ongoing sprinkler work is being done (fixing/replacing broken
sprinklers)

A ball for every occasion

Let’s be honest: we're greedy when it comes to our golf ball, and rightly so. We don’t want to have to choose between distance or feel; instead, we want a ball that offers us the lot so we get maximum help on every shot.
