Driving Range Improvement

Following the meeting with Dorset Council on the 9th of May I am pleased to tell you that we have finally been granted planning permission for the driving range improvement.

We will of course be keeping all the members up to date and will inform you when the work will start.

Hardy A League

Lyme played its first match of the new season away against Moors Valley on 3rd May. In a close tussle we went down by 4 ½ to 3 ½.

The next game is at home to Folke on Saturday 31st May, list to go up soon. It would be great to see some new faces involved.

As far as the Cup knock out competition goes, we are now through to the quarter final, with a home game against Broadstone, to be played before 6th July - so "Wembley" beckons!

Entry forms are now available for the annual Candles on the Cobb golf day on Wednesday the 28th of May so for a great day please contact the office for an entry form while it's still available!

We have a Callaway demo day on Wednesday 4th June 10 -2pm. Demo days are a great chance to try out the latest equipment with expert advice from the very top custom fitting professionals. They will be able to provide you with stats relating to how you are hitting the ball and provide advice on how to optimise your equipment to achieve not just added distance but accuracy.
