Steak Night's 

Starting from Friday 2nd of September we will be running a steak night every Friday, 6-9pm, throughout the rest of the year where you will be able to buy two steaks and a bottle of wine for just £25! Booking will be essential with other menu choices also available. So to book please phone 01297 442963. 

Men's Open's 

There are still times available for the men's 4 Ball Better Ball Open on Saturday 3rd September and The Captains Charity Open on Saturday 24th September. So if you would like to enter make sure you book your times while you still can! 

Presidents Prize 2016 

In Keeping with recent tradition, the Presidents Prize for Men will be an unusual Competition. This will be a TWO MAN TEXAS SCRAMBLE medal with handicap allowance exactly 25% combined. Each player must take at least six tee shots. Each player is allowed one free mulligan. There are extra prizes for nearest the pin at all the par 3's and a longest drive on the 7th hole. Entry is Free. 

Prize giving to be held on the following week on Sunday 25th September at 1pm. 


 

Have you got any golf clubs you would like to sell? 

We are pleased to announce a new service we will provide to members where we will sell any of your old golf clubs on eBay. There will be a 20% charge for us to sell them and the remaining total will be credit to your shop account. So please get on touch if you would like to use this new service!

We have now received the brand new Mizuno JPX 900 range of fitting Irons. The range includes: -

JPX-900 tour: Mizuno is broadening the appeal of the game-improvement JPX line by adding a tour-level iron to its new series. Forged from 1025E carbon steel using the company's "Grain Flow" process to enhance responsiveness, the JPX-900 Tour has many features typical of a better player's club: a compact shape, traditional lofts, minimal offset and a relatively narrow, tapered sole. 

JPX-900 forged: In the market for more forgiveness? The JPX-900 Forged made from 1025E boron steel, has a wider pocket cavity that's lower from heel to toe than its predecessor (the JPX-850 Forged) to increase flex low on the face.

JPX-900 Hot-Metal: The JPX-900 Hot Metal is made from a strong yet malleable chromium alloy with a cup face, for players looking for max distance. The model generates 2 mph faster ball speed and a slightly steeper landing angle than the JPX-850.
